Planting a Seed of Faith

Today's episode we learn about the importance of planting a seed and how the Lord calls us to share the Good News.

I discuss three ways of planting a seed of faith and include a word of encouragement if you are sharing and don't see results right away (regarding others being saved).

- Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.

-Mark 16:15 Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone

- Matthew 28:19-20 - Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

- Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

- John 14: 6 “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'

- Acts 16:30- 33 Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he was baptized at once, he and all his family.

-Romans 10: 9 Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

- Titus 3:5 also states - He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit

1 Corinthians 3:6-9  I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives growth. 8 He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.

Jeremiah 17: 8 He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
