Mahomes and the offense continue to stall while the defense keeps this team afloat, and we break down why KC may need to win out just to have a shot. The Eagles drop their third straight in a fist-fight loss to the Chargers as Jalen Hurts turns it over five times and Philly searches for answers. The Packers get a huge win over the rival Bears, but Chicago impresses even in defeat as Caleb Williams flashes star-level talent while Green Bay continues to look like a real Super Bowl contender.

Plus — Josh Allen puts on the cape yet again as the Bills rally late to beat the Bengals, even as Buffalo’s defense continues to be a major liability. Tulane and JMU somehow land in the field despite résumé gaps that make no sense, the ACC’s disastrous tiebreaker system led to a 7–5 Duke team in the title game, and for the first time, Notre Dame appears to have been punished for not playing in a conference.
