We've had lots of interactions over the years between fans and pro riders (to varying degrees of disaster), from training rides, to during races, to hotels in the middle of the night. Pro cycling puts on TWO simultaneous stage races this time of year and it's very confusing, but the races are fun, some riders getting their big chance, and stars doing star shit while they prepare for bigger goals.

I retired from pro cycling ten years ago, but I still share my exploits and train as much as I can. The questions I get most often are "how much fitness have you lost since the pro days?" And "Are you going back to reclaim the KOM that you first got 8 years ago?"
