In Episode 1 of this series on 1 Peter, I focus on the largely disputed topic of authorship concerning 1 Peter. Through looking at scholars and the arguments they put forth, we are able to understand the historical context of the letter and its place within our NT canon. With this comes a plethora of heresies, therefore, we attempt to explicate some of these heresies, describe the right belief, and then pontificate about what these might cause one to think about.
