    In our first movie review of 2026, we dive into Send Help, Sam Raimi's return to low-budget, gore-soaked dark comedy. We talk about the film's retro thriller vibes, outrageous practical effects, and the morally messy showdown between Rachel McAdams' brilliantly awkward survivalist and Dylan O'Brien's privileged but panicked counterpart. From Evil Dead–style camera gags to an ending that left us debating character choices, this island survival story gave us laughs, winces, and plenty to discuss. Fun, twisted, and very Raimi — we break down what worked, what didn't, and why it's a solid 7.5–7.8 out of 10 for both of us.
