Celtic’s history is replete with stories of exciting players, yet few have achieved the legendary status of one notable Irishman: Patsy Gallacher.

The skilful forward made his mark at Celtic, not only as one of the Bhoys’ all-time top scorers, but also as scorer of one of the club’s most famous cup final winners, which happened 100 years ago this week.
