Political stance of the interviewees

I actually love this podcast so far… just hate that I’m so many years behind the curve. The only thing I wanted to say was that, I, like Hamza, was extremely irritated by the interview with the first subject in this episode. It hurt me how disappointed he was and that he felt that his world view had been negated and those of his friends had been validated. I also have to say that I disagree, because my view is very similar to Hamza’s and I feel that that’s the only way our world will ever change for the better: not by forcing our views and ways of doing things onto others, but by understanding, accepting, and allowing our differences to bring us together. That being said, my point is that, I don’t believe that the gentleman being interviewed was so much expressing an anti-Muslim view when he, himself is a Muslim, so much as he was being extremely careful to toe a careful line on what he felt was politically acceptable. He obviously lacks integrity as well as a spine - which was made crystal clear through his vague, political, double-speak. Hamza, be YOU and keep believing; people like you do, and will continue to, make this world a better place.
