Parental Absence

Our childhood experiences can impact who we become later in life. This is especially true for my guest, Christina. At an early age, Christina witnessed her mother struggle with heroin addiction, frequently going in and out of rehab or jail. Christina's father remained largely absent from her life. These experiences shaped her to become a school psychologist to help others. Listen to how she overcame her struggles and deals with grieving.
