I liked the tenacity of the historian trying to discover the truth of a fallen civilization through the words of the inhabitants of Ceti Alpha V. Setting the series as a flashback to (2267-2285) from a viewpoint of 2293 creates a sense of empathy for the characters. Not only do we know what's going to ultimately happen to them, but some old friends know as well. Excellent voice actors. Nice callback to other points in the "Star Trek" Universe. If "Star Trek" were a radio show from the 1940's, this would be it.

History is told by the victor, then there's the real history.

I am a long time Trekkie who started with TOS so Kahn is a big part of Trek for me. When I first heard about the "Ceti Alpha V" project it was going to be a minu-series (something I always thought Star Trek should do). But then the project got pushed off to the side while the New Era of streaming Trek pushed forward. My feelings on streaming Trek are mixed. As for Khan (I would have loved to see it on screen) but this podcast approach is definitely interesting. The first episode is compelling and sets things up nicely. I'm looking forward to see where it takes us. Fingers crossed 🤞

I loved hearing from some distinguished Star Trek alumni! What happened after Khan was left behind on Ceti Alpha V has been told before via comics and novels but I'm more than happy to hear another take.

excellent performances!

The title says it all. I've been watching Star Trek since the late 70s and am very disappointed with the addition of identity politics. Why does every new show and every other episode need to be about gender or orientation. This first episode broke canon with the way they portray Marla and the fact that they are trying to paint Khan as some kind of romantic hero just shows the people obsessed with identity politics either don't understand good and evil or they lean more toward believing evil is a good thing. Then, the 'space lesbians' trying to have a kid. That's ridiculous. Enough already. Take out the identity politics and restore both Khan and Marlo to canon and everything else is GREAT! Bringing back George Takei and Tim Russ is one of the best treats for Trek fans you could have given us.

Production Value Is Excelent
