  • How This Multi-Cultural Author Went From "I Want To” to “I Did It”
    Apr 2 2026

    Let Riselle know you're listening

In this episode, I’m sitting down with a school friend who turned a simple desire into six published books. She didn't overthink it. She just did it.

We talk about how she started writing for herself first, which took away the fear of failing. She did it with no pressure or trying to impress anyone. Just doing what she felt called to do.

She shares how she built her own publishing company, why she didn’t wait for permission, and how her life, her family, and all the places she’s lived shape the stories she tells.

This is a real conversation about what happens when you stop overthinking your dream and just start moving on it.

  • This Popular Dutch Saying Changed My Life
    Mar 12 2026

    Let Riselle know you're listening

My father introduced me to this Dutch saying: "Nee, heb je. Ja, kan je krijgen." And it literally translates to: You already have a "No" but you could get a "Yes".

If you never try, the answer will always be No. By trying and by failing you could make it into a Yes.

If you were waiting for permission, my friend, let this be it. Let this be the motivation you need to say "Yes" to your dreams and to creating the life you want for yourself.

In the words of one of my favorite artists, Ed Sheeran: "Success doesn't teach you anything. Failure does."

Get the Dream to Action Starter Kit here and start working on your realizing those beautiful dreams today.

And if you want to work one-on-one with me on a gorgeous Caribbean island, send an email to hello@thetravelingislandgirl.com to learn about the Island Awakening Solo Experience. You, me, 4 days on a beautiful island, getting you from "I'm not sure how" to "I'm doing this!". Stop holding your dreams hostage in your head and make them a part of your reality.

    You can do it, friend.

  • Different Year, Same Story? Let's Break That Pattern
    Mar 5 2026

    Let Riselle know you're listening

Every year we say the same thing.

    “This year will be different.”

But then… the same stress, the same habits, the same excuses show up again.

In this episode I’m talking about the patterns we repeat without realizing it. The relationship we keep complaining about. The job we hate but never leave. The dreams we say we want but never actually work on.

    You’re not stuck.
    You’re repeating.

And the good news? Patterns can be broken.

Download the Dream to Action Starter Kit here and start making small changes that actually move your life forward.

  • The "Bubble" Theory: Why We See Things So Differently
    Feb 26 2026

    Let Riselle know you're listening

The other day, bubbles from my neighbor’s balcony drifted down onto mine. And it made me realize something.

    We are all like bubbles.

We live under the same sky. We see the same world. But what’s inside our bubble is different. Our memories. Our beliefs. Our experiences.

That’s why two people can see the same thing and feel something completely different.

In this episode, I break down why we judge too fast, why we argue, and how empathy can change the way we move through life.

    It feels like a disaster.

  • Why Getting Triggered Is A Gift
    Feb 12 2026

    Let Riselle know you're listening

In this episode, I am talking about triggers and why they are not the enemy. We love to blame other people for how we feel, but the truth is, if something triggers you, it is showing you something that still needs your attention. Every reaction is a mirror. And when we react without thinking, we give our power away. I share how to pause instead of react, how to get curious instead of defensive, and why your next trigger might actually be telling you something deeper. If you are ready to stop pointing fingers and start doing the real inner work, this one is for you.
