  • Saawan Tiwari is a costume designer and world enthusiast based in New York City. Saawan recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Theatre Design and Production and is inspired by admiring, studying & creating alternate realities. Over the course of our chat, we dug into the roots of their passion and learned more about what this creatively stimulating industry is like for a young designer set on establishing their distinct vision while creating, as Saawan puts it, "clothing vocabulary" that can transport an audience to the world they're meant to experience.
