In the last episode, Robin and Mary start training dogs at the shelter to walk on a leash. Mary is confident that the dogs will be adopted as soon as they are trained. Robin is not so sure, but feels more optimistic after talking things over with Greg Peterson, Bombo’s owner.
In this episode, Robin meets Gary and Milt, the two people Greg told him about in the last episode. After meeting them, he is pretty sure the street dog who has been talking to him, will be adopted by Gary, and that Milt holds the clue to Poppy’s previous owner. Unfortunately, he also learns that knowing about Poppy’s previous owner is going to get him killed.
