When a grassroots movement gains enough traction, it can become a dominant idea. In doing so, the idea almost always changes, leading to the question; is it still the same movement?

We ask the question, can a grassroots movement achieve mainstream appeal while holding on to its core ideology? Our discussion leads us to a debate on modern Christianity, and whether or not the religion has fundamentally changed when it became one of the world's mainstream religions.
