This episode is all about weaponized information.  For generations the CIA has most likely controlled a great deal of content created globally. Many movies and tv shows go thru a formal review process with the both the CIA and the DOD prior to launching.  Is it possible that a large majority of the material we consume via the news and social media is "fake"?  Perhaps what we see has been carefully selected in order to promote a message, or steer us to accepting a version of reality that is not altogether real.  How would the government even pull this off?  Operation mockingbird was designed to do that very thing.
