    Naveed Tariq Khawaja is a former banker turned entrepreneur. He was born and raised in Pakistan and has been living in Hong Kong since 2009.

    Naveed worked as a banking professional for 20 years in the APAC region, holding both client and non-client roles. He worked at Citi, Standard Chartered Bank and Bank of America (where he worked for 14 years). In August 2025, Naveed left his full-time job to focus on building new businesses.

    Mai was born in Vietnam and came to the U.S. as a refugee when she was eight years old. She served 20 years in the U.S. Navy before becoming an immigration adjudicator for the Department of Homeland Security.

    Anushka Purohit is the CEO and Co-Founder of Breer, a food upcycling startup which turns bread into beer. Breer addresses the prominent problem of bread waste in Hong Kong, hence aims to reduce food waste.

    Anushka also launched StayK (a travel app, an end-to-end vacation planning platform) during COVID-19 and most recently launched a cosmetics brand called Ssome Cosmetics and a side hustle to bring Bollywood movies to Hong Kong. Anushka is also working on a tech side hustle at the moment.

    Along with being a young entrepreneur, Anushka is a polyglot, being able to speak five languages, and is passionate about making an impact and representing underrepresented communities globally.

    She has received various awards and recognition for her work including Forbes 30U30 Asia List and being featured on CNBC, Tatler and Lifestyle Asia.
