In this episode, we explore why simply telling people to “just be direct” doesn’t actually create openness in conversations.

    You’ll learn:

    • The two types of “direct” people (and why they feel so different)

    • Why emotional safety is the real foundation of honest communication

    • The difference between neutral vs. emotionally charged needs

    • How to create conditions where people want to be direct with you

If you want deeper, more honest conversations, this is where it starts.

  • When People Don’t Make Sense. Spoiler Alert:You’re Looking at the Wrong Blueprint
    Mar 13 2026

    Send a text

In this episode, we explore a concept that has fundamentally shaped the way we understand people: blueprint mismatches.

Over the years, I’ve come to believe something very simple but very powerful:

    Humans always make sense.

Even when someone’s behavior feels confusing, irrational, or frustrating to us, it still makes sense from their perspective. The problem is usually not that someone is illogical. The problem is that we’re trying to interpret their behavior through our own blueprint of the world instead of theirs.

In this video, I break down how learning to recognize these blueprint mismatches can completely change the way you approach leadership, relationships, and even sales.

    We talk about:

    • Why believe everyone always makes sense from their own lens
    • What happens when we judge instead of investigating
    • Why having a strong inner center and identity allows you to step into someone else’s perspective
    • How to recognize when someone doesn’t actually want to understand you (and when to stop explaining yourself)
    • The role of cycles in human behavior, expansion, withdrawal, learning, launching
    • Why rejection in business is often just misaligned timing of needs
    • How understanding people’s cycles and needs helps you stop taking things personally

    Enjoy

  • Knowing When to Speak and When to Let Go (Relational Intelligence) | Dominika Legrand
    Mar 5 2026

    Send a text

Most advice about communication focuses on what to say. Scripts, opening lines, persuasion techniques. But in my experience, real relational intelligence has much less to do with clever words and much more to do with sensing the moment.

Underneath every conversation, there is a quiet system running:

    Speak now
    Let go

The challenge is learning how to recognize those signals.

    You’ll learn:

    • How to recognize when a conversation is naturally closing
    • Why pushing past that moment can damage connection
    • What containment means in communication
    • How dual awareness helps you read the room in real time
    • Why sometimes the most intelligent move is simply to step back

If you’re an entrepreneur, consultant, leader, or someone who values meaningful relationships, this skill will change the way you approach conversations in both business and life.

Because the goal of communication isn’t to say everything you want to say.

It’s to know when the moment is open and when it’s complete.

  • Why Congruence Builds Trust (And Incongruence Breaks It)
    Jan 29 2026

    Send us a text

You know how people say certain things, but you can tell that underneath, they mean something else?

That subtle disconnect is often a sign of incongruence, and it deeply affects how we perceive others, whether we trust them, and how safe their words feel.

In this episode, we talk about congruence as it relates to business: why it matters, how it shows up in everyday interactions, and how true congruence becomes the foundation of trust.

Basically when your innie is matching your outie.

Have you ever felt like approaching people online just feels off?
    Heavy. Forced. Unnatural.

In this video, I share the real story behind The Art of the Approach. This is not about scripts, positioning, or better outreach tactics. It is about how you arrive, how you are received, and the impact your presence has on another human being.

  • When People Don’t Make Sense: Understanding Perception Mismatches
    Jan 21 2026

    Send us a text

Many times, we misunderstand people because, according to our perspective, their behavior does not make sense.

Or we read meaning into something that is not always the reality.

    • How two people can both be right—and still clash
    • Misunderstandings are often signals of a blueprint mismatch, not bad character

This episode is an invitation to shift from judgment to curiosity, and from forcing alignment to building relational intelligence.

    In this episode, you’ll explore:

    • What relational blueprints are and how they shape perception
    • Why “good intentions” don’t always land as intended
    • How blueprint mismatches show up in business, sales, and leadership
    • The power of understanding without agreeing

  • Why Trying to "Build Relationships" in Business Often Breaks Them?
    Jan 17 2026

    Send a text

Most of us are taught that in order to generate opportunities in business, you gotta build relationships with people first.

    So we do it.

We prospect for hours, send DM-s, do outreach, spend hours on our phones, or simply dread doing the "relationship" building because it feels misaligned with who we naturally are and avoid it altogether.

In this episode, we discuss the paradox behind the "relationship" building approaches and how it can feel good, and what a different orientation is that makes this effortless rather than a chore.

We go deep inside this work, inside the Art of the Approach. We start on February 1st. If this resonates, you can register here. https://www.dominikalegrand.com/art-of-the-approach

  • (BTS) The Art of the Approach: Beyond Scripts, Status, and Strategy
    Jan 13 2026

    Send us a text

Have you ever wanted to launch something, only to overthink how to frame it so it looks sexy?

And then, somewhere along the way, you realize that trying to keep it “market-relevant” actually diluted the essence of the program itself.

That’s exactly what I went through with my latest program, The Art of the Approach. In this episode, I share the full evolution behind it.

I also talk about how my relationship with approaching people in business has been shaped over time, and how that approach has evolved through experience, missteps, and deeper self-trust.
