Spencer and Josh continue their Miyamoto Musashi journey of the Samurai Trilogy. This time with part 2 from 1955. Directed by Hiroshi Inagaki and starring Toshiro Mifune once more. Leading in right where the first movie left off, Musashi is on the quest to become the ultimate samurai he can be, and he starts by raiding schools and taking on all who challenge him. Of course, whooping ass and pissing others off in the process.

Some purely amazing fight scenes take place in this beautifully shot and edited film. We also will learn what happens with some other characters like the confused girl Otsu, Musashi's old friend, Matahachi, and the monk who got him into the right direction, Takuan. How this story ties in and relates to the Musashi novel and The Book of the 5 Rings. Nothing but good times.

Spencer and Wes go back to good ole 1988 and revisit the first Young Guns for a Rewind Review from the Via VHS Podcast of the classic 80s western flick. A movie that really reignited the slumping western genre back to life for about a decade or so more of great films to follow. Telling the legendary old west story of Billy the Kid and the Regulators. The film is fun as hell, action packed to the max, and strangely, delivers one of the most accurate portrayals of Billy the Kid on screen.

Dave and Spencer are continuing the story arc of Mortal Kombat with MKX or just MK10. The 2015 fighting game for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One era. The story that carries on the linage from the original Mortal Kombat dates and now is 20 years into the future. A cool concept of having everyone age with the series and now there is a brand-new assortment of fresh faces and of course the Kombat Kids.

Still, the gameplay is just as fun as ever, Raiden is still goofing things up, and the story is filled with all kinds of twists and turns. Though this one really does feel like you are missing an in-between MK game between 9 and 10. Of course, that's also where that DC Comics prequel fits in too.
