Today I'm joined by Steve Blackwell, CEO of Invito Energy Partners. Steve and his managing partner, Jared Christianson, have a long history and vast experience in the oil & gas space.

As an investment opportunity, oil & gas can be a powerful addition to a portfolio, as its returns are not directly tied to the market like many traditional investments, and it offers unique tax benefits, but only if done the right way.

While the tax benefits often lead the conversation when it comes to oil & gas, today we look at this solely from an investment perspective, because at the end of the day, all of the tax benefits in the world don't help us if the investment does not perform.
