Of Wishes and Resolutions

Resolutions are based on control and usually because we have attached some sort of meaning or feeling to it not working

We make wishes when we blow out our birthday candles, so why not use it for setting goals too? Apparently there is an actual ritual behind this and it wasnt just me who has seen it work.
