  • 011 Paul Toomer from RAID 'Are you carrying enough RB Bailout?'
    Jul 25 2022

This is an absolute masterclass. In just 30 minutes Paul covers off on a variety of aspects of planning and executing your Rebreather dives and how you should think (or rethink) what you do with your bailout.  It's mind boggling how much common sense you will get from this (Common sense being not so common these days)

Paul will definitely have you come away with a few answers but even more importantly, asking yourself many more *questions*. Now THAT is the definition of 'provocative' … something that ‘provokes’ you to question how you do things and should you be doing them differently ?

On the Ozdive front Sue Crowe also has a slew of new announcements about the event which is now barely 8 weeks away !

And finally, we have live interviews with both both Paul and Gareth Lock from The Human Diver about their exciting new announcement which just broke hours before we recorded this episode.

    Load up !

And don’t forget to share this podcast with your diving friends.

So those of you anywhere in the world can participate in EVERY session as if you were here in person including Q+A  … stay tuned for those details in the next podcast edition and on the socials

In this episode we are sharing Gareth Lock's intriguing presentation from Oztek 2019 titled "Is there Too Much Safety in Tech Diving?'  What a provocative question !  And the answer was ?  Well, you’ll just have to listen to find out.

Joining us today to chart our course through the tricky HFiD shoals is Sydney based Human Factors Instructor Mike Mason who gives us some added granularity around the method of HFiD and how you can take those famed in-person courses right here in Australia. Indeed Gareth and Mike are running courses either side of Ozdive/Oztek in October, listen in to the pod to find out all about it. Or see the ilnnks to Mike below.

Sue also had some news on yet even more great exhibitors who have locked in for what you know is going to be a MONSTER Ozdive, as it is pretty much the first of the global Tech diving conferences in a post-COVID landscape. It’s going to be YUGE people !
