  • Should I go or Should I Stay?
    Apr 2 2026

Affordability has become THE topic in media, political, and financial circles. And housing is at the center of the conversation. Renters particularly

feel at risk. Justin Pogue brings a unique perspective based on his twenty years in the trenches of property management and real estate investing.

In between property management jobs, a friend suggested that he write a book. One about real estate seemed the obvious choice given his background. But

when he looked at the currently available books, he noticed something odd. There were books for realtors, insurance agents, property managers, and investors,

but not one single book written for those who pay over three-quarters of a trillion dollars every year, the renters. So Rental Secrets was born. A book that goes behind the scenes to describe how landlords think and why they do what they do. Giving renters effective,

actionable, market-based strategies to negotiate with landlords in their own language. Based on twenty-plus years of property management experience, Rental

Secrets empowers renters to take back control.
