  • NoFo 231 - Stay NoFo!
    Sep 24 2025

Tonight’s show is a bittersweet one – after 230+ episodes, countless tangents, and more dodgy puns than we’d care to admit, this is our final broadcast… at least for the foreseeable future. We’re not going to dress it up with “see you real soon” or “we’ll definitely be back” – the truth is, we don’t know if we will. This might be the end of the November Foxtrot Podcast, and if it is, we want to go out properly. There are plenty of reasons behind this decision. Andy and Mike are busy building Superflo, Ash has been holding the fort behind the scenes, Lance has stepped away from the hobby entirely, and life in general has been pulling us all in different directions. On top of that, Mike’s about to have a second baby – and as anyone who’s run a night game will tell you, nothing kills your comms discipline faster than sleep deprivation. More importantly, the show has started to feel more like work than the chaotic, fun energy that got us going in the first place. After nearly five years of weekly episodes, it feels like the right time to down tools, take stock, and accept that this may be the natural conclusion of the journey. So, tonight we’re sharing stories, laughs, and a little bit of nostalgia as we reflect on what this podcast has meant to us – and hopefully to you too. Whether or not this is goodbye forever, we want to thank you all for being a part of this adventure. It’s been ridiculous, it’s been fun, and it’s been one hell of a ride. If this truly is the end – then thanks for listening, thanks for supporting, and thanks for making November Foxtrot what it was. See you out in the field.

  • NoFo 230 - From Mercs to Milsim: Tactical Delta Group’s Vision
    Sep 10 2025
On tonight’s show, Mike, Andy, and Ash are joined by Tactical Delta Group to talk all about their brand-new site and the exciting milsims they’ll be hosting there. Covering an impressive 60 hectares, the site isn’t just another patch of woodland — it’s built for immersion, complete with bunkers, trenches, and dense forest designed to test players both tactically and physically. What makes this site even more unique is who’s behind it. Run by ex-mercenaries with years of experience in real-world operations, Tactical Delta Group are bringing a depth of authenticity to their events that promises something very different from the average game day. With plans to run regular milsims, tonight’s chat will give us the full lowdown on what players can expect, how the games will be structured, and what makes this site stand out in the UK scene. So whether you’re a hardened milsimmer looking for your next challenge, or just curious about how bunkers, trenches, and a merc-run site all come together, this is an episode you won’t want to miss. • NoFo 229 - Dead Air No More - Mastering Comms in MilSim
    Sep 3 2025
On tonight’s show, Mike, Ash, and Andy are joined by the one and only Ryan James James Ryan — yes, that’s his real name, and no, your radio isn’t experiencing interference. We’ll be tuning into the world of radios and ATAK for airsoft milsim, breaking down the art of keeping your comms clear when the pressure’s on. Ryan James James Ryan brings with him a depth of knowledge from real-world, real-steel applications, giving us a rare chance to cut through the static and get to the good stuff: how to actually use these tools effectively in the field. From avoiding the dreaded “radio check, radio check, can anyone hear me?” moments, to harnessing ATAK for mapping, navigation, and full-team coordination, this episode is stacked like a five-bar signal. Expect a few dropped calls (the conversational kind), some questionable code words, and plenty of laughs as we discuss what works, what doesn’t, and how to stop sounding like you’re ordering a takeaway over the net. Whether you’re a seasoned operator or the guy still trying to work out why his PTT doesn’t “push to talk,” this is one episode you won’t want to miss. • NoFo 227 - Mastering Close Quarters Battle
    Aug 13 2025
On tonight’s show, Andy and Ash are holding down the fort while Mike deals with family commitments and Lance is away with work — but that’s not stopping us from diving into one of the most intense topics in airsoft: Close Quarters Battle (CQB). We’re breaking down what CQB really is, where it comes from, and why it’s as much about brains as it is about speed and aggression. From team-based tactics and communication to solo skills and personal lessons learned, we’ll be sharing the do’s, the don’ts, and a few “we’ll never do that again” stories from our own experiences. We’ll also chat about how training has shaped the way we play, the small tricks that make a huge difference, and why CQB in movies and games like Rainbow Six and John Wick doesn’t always match reality (sorry, Hollywood). Expect a mix of practical advice, hard-earned insights, and the usual amount of November Foxtrot banter. If you’re keen to sharpen your CQB skills, avoid rookie mistakes, or just enjoy hearing about two grown men arguing over doorways and corners, this one’s for you. • NoFo 226 - The bushes are watching you - Woodland Recce
    Aug 6 2025
On tonight’s show, we’re back in camo and crawling through the undergrowth for part two of our recon mini-series – this time trading concrete for conifers. After the urban antics of Episode 224, we’re going full woodland goblin to talk fieldcraft, foliage, and how not to get spotted by a goat herder or your mate Dave. Fresh off the JBG Recce Training Event (yes, Mike and Lance are still finding twigs in their boots), we’ll be breaking down what the course taught us about rural recon, the good, the bad, and the muddy. Expect the usual practical insights and questionable banter! Whether you’re a seasoned sneaky beaky or just want to know why people are lying in ditches on purpose, this one’s for you. For more info, kit suggestions, or to dive into past episodes, sneak on over to www.novemberfoxtrot.co.uk.

  • NoFo 225 - Plastic BBs & Real History - The Evolution of Airsoft
    Jul 30 2025

On this week’s show, Mike, Andy, and Lance take a nostalgic trip through the timeline of airsoft — from its humble beginnings in 1970s Japan to the high-tech, community-driven hobby we know today. Whether you’re a long-time skirmisher or a fresh recruit to the sport, this episode is packed with insights, memories, and a few laughs along the way. • NoFo 224 - Bricks, Blinds and Bluffs - Urban Recce
    Jul 23 2025

On this week’s show, Mike and Andy are diving deep into the world of urban recon - or “recce” for those in the know (though Mike still insists on calling it “recon” thanks to his half-American roots). Urban environments bring a whole different flavour to milsim, and tonight’s conversation explores how to adapt your tactics when the trees are replaced by concrete. From blending in through roleplay and disguise - think maintenance workers, beggars, or just the right kind of nondescript civilian - to setting up observation posts inside buildings, the lads talk through the tools, techniques, and mindset needed to operate unnoticed in dense, man-made terrain. Expect tips on avoiding silhouettes, managing movement, dealing with practicalities like toilets and comms, and some niche tricks for indoor ops. Whether you're prepping for your first city-based milsim or want to try new approaches at your next event, this one’s packed with ideas and grounded insight from the field. No trees required.
