What do you do when your situation feels finished?
In this Easter message, “Not Done Yet,” we walk through Luke 24:1–12 and discover the powerful truth at the center of the resurrection: what looks like the end is often where God is just getting started. The women came to the tomb expecting defeat, but encountered life. The disciples struggled to believe, but began to move toward hope. And in the same way, many of us walk into moments in our lives feeling like something is over, our strength, our hope, our future. But Easter reminds us of this: Because Jesus is alive, we can be sure God’s not done yet. Whether you’re carrying doubt, disappointment, grief, or exhaustion, this message is an invitation to remember what God has said, trust what He has done, and take your next step toward Him.
Discussion Questions:
- Have you ever experienced a moment where something looked “over,” but it wasn’t? What happened?
- Where in your life right now does it feel like something is “done” or beyond hope?
- The angels told the women to “remember what Jesus said.” What truth from God (Scripture, a promise, or something He’s spoken to you) do you need to remember in this season, and why has it been hard to hold onto?
- Peter didn’t fully understand yet, but he still got up and moved toward the tomb. What is one step of faith you can take this week, even if you don’t have full clarity yet?
