In this episode and the next, we do a deep dive into a foundational Truth that causes some to go apoplectic - God's Sovereignty. There is some mystery to how it all works, but it is extremely important to understand what the Bible teaches, and what it doesn’t because when we try to make our understanding of God fit into our finite minds, it usually leaves us with a God of our own making, and ultimately leads to a life lived on shaky ground, instead of a firm foundation.

The quest to answer the question, “What is my purpose - why am I here, and what am I supposed to do with my life” has throughout history, been the universal question of people. This question is getting asked more and more as chaos ensues in the world. Doctors have even come up with a term for people struggling with this. It's called, Purpose Anxiety.” People are wired with a gnawing sense that their life should have an overarching purpose, but apart from God, it's impossible to know how to discover it.
