We ask the titular hard hitting question as we enter 2026 with our Switch 2 in hand, because between egregious DLC (Pokemon Legends Z-A and Donkey Kong Bananza), overpriced upgrade packages for half a decade old titles, and the totally "necessary" price hike for some games (Mario Kart World, full stop....No, seriously, please stop), we simply have to wonder.
