That reverse mortgage applicants must have completed HECM Reverse Mortgage counseling (by a non-profit organization) and have a HECM Certificate prior to applying for such a mortgage?
That is right! So this provides a very nice safeguard for our seniors to "know" what they are applying for and how it works.
This provides a lot of peace of mind for those applicants, their advisors and their loved ones.
