At the Tompkins Square Park Dog Halloween Parade we met an absolute NYC icon named Drake, a woman so unmistakably New York she could have only been born of this city’s chaos and charm. What is more New York than wandering the streets, spotting the most fabulous stranger, and immediately interviewing her?

Then it got even better. Our friend was watching the pod and realized the iconic woman we met was the same person he had just sold a vacuum to in his building. Only in this city does your random dog-parade queen also become your friend’s neighbor.

You know that guy in Bushwick who “wants to be a tattoo artist” but can’t make it to his Blank Street Coffee shift before noon? Simon is what happens when that guy actually follows through and gets really good at it. He’s one of the most talented (and, let’s be honest, hottest) tattoo artists in NYC.
