New Testament Healings

Jesus' mission was not merely to help us endure life, but to give us life in its fullest measure, often called the abundant life. This powerful statement contrasts the work of the thief, who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, with the life-giving purpose of Christ. While the term "abundant life" encompasses spiritual and eternal life, it also speaks to a comprehensive wholeness for the believer. This wholeness is the foundation for the remarkable healings and acts of restoration that are so prominent throughout the entire New Testament.
