On this episode, I interview experiencer, artist, documentarian and podcaster Jay Christopher King about the current state of ufology, rancor within that community, and the need for discernment.

King is co-host and co-producer, along with Kelly Chase, of the "Cosmosis" podcast, as well as a documentary series – "Cosmosis: UFOs & A New Reality" – now available for free viewing on Amazon, as well as Apple TV.

King has long been the organizer of "The Experiencer Group," an entity that includes and supports a number of people who’ve had anomalous experiences.

He holds an MFA in film from Bard College and brings a cinematic, deeply personal lens to his explorations of the unknown. King also co-created and runs the NYC conference series "An Inquiry Into Anomalous Experiences & The Phenomenon," which has featured prominent voices like Garry Nolan, Christopher Mellon, Diana Walsh Pasulka, and Jeffrey Kripal.

In this conversation, we discuss the subject of ufology, where it stands currently, and whether the decades-long quest for disclosure from the government is worthwhile.

We also explore the issue of experiencer predation. Many abductees, witnesses, psychics and others describe having drawn the attention of the intelligence community, other forces within the military industrial complex, foreign governments and others, attention that can be invasive, threatening, and dangerous.

King reveals that he has himself felt unsafe, and at one point worried his life was at risk, because of such contacts.King describes what to look for, and how to protect yourself.
