Neil Young - Tonight's The Night (1975)

Neil Young's 1975 album Tonight's The Night was a darker album than the material he had been putting out up until this point. Dealing with the deaths of Crazy Horse guitarist Danny Whitten and roadie and friend Bruce Barry, the songs on Tonight's The Night deal with some serious subject matter. Although there is a hopeful undercurrent the songs go to some serious places. That's not to say the album isn't worth listening to. It's mostly a cautionary tale for anybody dabbling in the world of drugs.
