It happens - this pod is living proof.

  • Ep 9 - From Autumn Obstacles to The Law of Leftovers
    Nov 18 2025

This week we’re talking about the depression that is daylight savings, breakfast in bed movie marathons, and the suburban Olympic sport that is dodging skyscraper-sized leaf piles. We relive the latest basement karaoke night (yes, we sang Butterfly in the Sky for all the neighbors), dissect whether Reese’s Cups count as marital property, hear about Amber's birthmark laser treatment, and Jen unleashes a much-needed drug store rant. Plus, Tucker the Podcat drops by, and home-reno heats up (literally… heated floors).

I first listened to the first half of episode 7 because it popped up while I was driving. They introduce this person Traci, and they make it sound like they talked a lot about her in previous episodes, so I decided to start with the first episode when I got back in the car. The first episode is totally pointless- I felt like I was eavesdropping on their conversation of 2 friends catching up. But nothing was any of my business. They sort of discussed their vacation ideas and since I don’t really know these people, I don’t really care where they go. The 7th episode was a bit more interesting in that it did give maybe some good ideas for neighborhood events. So maybe it will get better. I might listen to one more episode before i totally say no thank you. (Also, in the 7th episode, since I wasn’t familiar with anyone yet, their voices were all so similar I was really having trouble discerning which person was talking at times.)

I hope it gets better
