Why is it more important for our longer term well-being to consider how changing the clocks twice per year aligns our waking schedules with the sun, despite some shorter term impacts during the transition?

We also need to consider how the degree of long term impact is regional in nature. For example, in the northern tier of the United States, there are more dramatic and adverse impacts to staying permanently on Daylight Saving Time (and other impacts to staying on Standard Time).

We live in a spiritually immature world that rather sadly is ruled by clocks and other unnatural patterns. We can also reflect on what it would be like to live in an entirely different way - naturally, not artificially.
