Natural Language Processing (NLP): Explained

In this edition of Tech Talk Explained, we explore 6 popular Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, provide multiple use cases, and real life examples. The techniques explained are: Tokenization, Keyword Extraction, Named-Entity Recognition, Summarization, Sentiment Analysis, and Parts of Speech Tagging. We then explore how the host and his team built a search service using Parts of Speech Tagging via custom parts of speech. We also enjoy the fact that host, Wally Gustafson, gave the entire presentation with lettuce on his teeth and has earned the nick name “lettuce boy”.
