Starting tonight, the Grand Ole Opry is celebrating with their Opry Country Christmas show at seven PM, featuring festive country Christmas music and holiday cheer. It's a beloved Nashville concert tradition that kicks off the season in style. If you want to make it extra special, they're offering premium experiences with backstage tours and exclusive lounge access.
Tomorrow through Sunday, the Nashvillage Holiday Market transforms Walk of Fame Park into a winter wonderland with four days of free family-friendly festivities. The celebration kicks off tomorrow at six PM with a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, with the Lockeland Student Choir performing at five thirty. The market runs Thursday and Friday from four to ten PM, Saturday from eleven AM to ten PM, and Sunday from eleven AM to seven PM. You'll find local artisans, seasonal food and drinks, entertainment, and festive photo opportunities. Free parking is available at Nissan Stadium Lot R, with complimentary Yellow Beep Bus shuttles running during festival hours.
Saturday is especially family-friendly at the holiday market, featuring special programming from eleven AM to four PM. Kids can participate in holiday crafts with the Country Music Hall of Fame and Turnip Green Creative Reuse, enjoy story time at Fairytales Bookstore, get face painting from Makeup Ninja, and watch hands-on science experiments from Mister Bond's Science Guys. Photos with Santa are available Saturday from one to four PM, starting at ten dollars per visit.
Also on Saturday, head to the Country Music Hall of Fame for their Dolly Parton and Kendra Scott jewelry event from ten AM to four PM, where you can shop the Change It Collection. They're also hosting a family program called String City, telling Nashville's tradition of music and puppetry at ten AM and eleven thirty AM.
For something truly spectacular, the Gaylord Opryland Resort has unveiled a dazzling new cirque holiday show called Pomp, Snow and Cirqueumstance, running through December thirty-first. This Broadway-meets-circus extravaganza features world-class circus acts, magic performances, and music.
