Episode 29 of Calling My Shots features NHL and College Baseball coverage. We begin our hockey content with "Puck Me" featuring our most notable moment of the week. We discuss the most prevalent storylines. Former KHL player Alexei Cherepanov suffers a tragic unexpected death. Darryl Sutter becomes the new head coach of the Calgary Flames and is off to a hot start. Claude Julien is unexpectedly fired by the Montreal Canadiens. ESPN will now broadcast NHL games for the first time since 2004. We talk about the implications this will have on the National Hockey League. We then play "Hot or Not" with 6 fortunate NHL teams. We give a brief overview of the current standings and discuss the league statistic leaders. Our hockey coverage ends with our player spotlights and taxi squad units. We then transition into our college baseball coverage where we begin with a brief overview of the updated top 25 rankings. We react to these rankings and decide whether or not adjustments should be made. We preview some of the notable upcoming SEC matchups. We end our show by discussing the latest power 5 conference standings. Enjoy!
