In 1996, Chuck Parello wrote and directed a sequel to John McNaughton’s brutal, yet oddly haunting exploration of a day in the life of two serial murderers loosely based on Henry Lee Lucas and Ottis Toole. No one was waiting for a sequel, but Parello delivered this pitch black film that has largely slipped below the radar.
