As a 1991 graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Janis Gruska practices primary care medicine with a focus on the healthcare of women and children. For 25 years she provided respectful quality individualized maternity care and out of hospital delivery support in her practice. She encouraged women to reconnect with their body and baby while building confidence in the birthing process.
During her professional career, Dr. Gruska has chosen to share her knowledge of naturopathic medicine through teaching. She has taught at the Sonoran University in Arizona and is currently an academic and clinical associate professor of gynecology and pediatrics at Bastyr University California.
