The window was slightly ajar, despite being on the 20th floor. A half-empty glass of whiskey sat on the desk, next to a crumpled piece of paper.

    Liam questioned the building's security guard, who confirmed that no one had entered or left the apartment since Robert's arrival earlier that evening. The detective then turned his attention to the crumpled paper, smoothing it out to reveal a cryptic message: "The truth lies within the vault."

    Intrigued, Liam searched the apartment and discovered a hidden wall safe. Upon opening it, he found a single item: a memory card. Back at the precinct, Liam viewed the contents of the card, which contained a video of Robert confessing to embezzling millions from his company. In the video, Robert also mentioned a former business partner named Julia Montgomery, who had threatened to expose him.
