Youji Cheng is a scientist who has lived in Canada for 8 years and runs a social enterprise Scientists of Maritime’ . He shared how his childhood and his mother was an influence in developing his interest in chemistry and science. He shared how he found his mentors as he started on a path towards his scientific journey. He also shares how he ended up in the field of Computational Chemistry. He also shares how he identified his interests and provides some strategies for others to start/ navigate their journeys in a scientific career.
