Music is magical. It has the amazing power to act as an equalizer, speaking to every human being, regardless of race, nationality, gender, sexuality, age, etc. and transcending differences, making all of us simply human.

Join Jordi as she has a conversation about the magic of music with an incredible human, Teaira Burge, who has found meaning, joy, escape, release, and solace in music.

Teaira discovered her love of singing, and that she had a natural talent for it, very young. Her love of singing country songs in the car with her parents developed and grew, eventually leading her to undergraduate and graduate degrees in musical performance, found her shining onstage as a professional opera singer, teaching music to the youngest of musicians, and into the spotlight of musical theatre.

Even when her life has been difficult or uncertain, music has always been a constant. It is a steady source of happiness for Teaira.
