His father, Bud, was a drummer, his mother, Phyllis, played piano and vibraphone, and his brother, Gregg Bissonette, is a well-known drummer. The musician, producer, composer known for his solo work and serving as longtime bass player for the likes of Elton John, David Lee Roth, Ringo Starr and many other A-listers for many decades now.
