In week 3 of our block entitled GIRL POWER, we explore the tragic murders of Jessica Wells and Holly Chapman, as well as the work performed, behind-the-scenes, by bada$$ forensic ecologist, botanist and palynologist Patricia Wilshire!

Ian Huntley’s shocking crimes against 10-year-olds Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman gripped the UK in 2002, but the seeds of this tragedy were sown long before. In this episode we peel back the layers of Huntley’s disturbing history as a serial sexual predator, ignored warning signs, prior allegations, and institutional failures that let him keep working around children. We also examine the pivotal role played by his girlfriend, Maxine Carr, who supplied a false alibi and helped twist the national narrative before the truth surfaced. 🚨

  • Ep:58 - The Phoenix Canal Murders - Two women biking a trail are BUTCHERED by "The Zombie Hunter"
    Jul 1 2025

Welcome to July, where GIRL POWER reigns supreme.

We kick off this month's new block with the story of two evening bike rides along a popular Phoenix canal that ended in horror. 22-year-old Angela Brosso was found decapitated in November 1992, and 17-year-old Melanie Bernas was pulled from the water ten months later.

For more than two decades the “Phoenix Canal Killings” froze the city in fear while the killer slipped through the cracks. That is until world-renowned forensic genealogist, Dr. Colleen M. Fitzpatrick took a tiny Y-DNA profile, searched public genealogy databases, and surfaced one game-changing clue: the surname...“Miller.” That single word cut a list of thousands of suspects down to six - placing Bryan Patrick Miller squarely in investigators’ crosshairs. What investigators discover is a shocking, decades-long trail of carnage, committed by a sadistic cosplayer who called himself, "The Zombie Hunter."
