Mr. Ballen doesn't use this name to sound like some millennial influencer acting like a Andrew Tate clone. He uses it because it's his name. He simultaneously puts regular high quality content on YouTube as well
as putting out 2 podcast episodes each week. The stories are not like you find on 85% of other podcasts that are 10 minutes or less and just uninspired.
This is one of those that are easily in the 15% The stories are bizarre and weird and tragic, but the best thing about them is that they're true, and this real deal Marine knows how to tell a story and does it well. You might heard some of these, but not in the way they're told by MrBallen. One thing that makes this pod even more awesome is even the short sponsor plugs are something to look for cause he turns a simple add into a hilarious story and often cracks up laughing while trying to remain serious. The practical jokes to do to the like button are always something to look forward too. if you can make your self promotion into a constantly changing joke and make adds entertaining, then that's basically a superpower. but hey, you don't have to take my word for it....
