On the barren Yorkshire moors in England, a hundred years ago, stood a house as bleak and desolate as the wastes around it. Only a stranger lost in a storm would have dared to knock at the door of Wuthering Heights.

The original, though compelling in its own way left a lot of questions. These chapters (the story is being broken into 3 chapters over 3 years) will fill in many of the gaps of the original. This doesn't follow the exact story, but it touches on the random violence that led to that killing and the fact that it's an ongoing statistic.
