I almost didn’t hit record on this one.
Lately I’ve been in a really dark season. Physically, mentally, emotionally. Showing up online (or anywhere) has felt impossible. I talk about what I’m not posting right now (spoiler: nothing), why creating when you’re in a raw and vulnerable space feels so complicated, and how social media can amplify those feelings of not being good enough.
But this episode isn’t just about the heavy.
It’s also about the little glimmers that keep me going as both a mother and a founder. Those moments that remind me why I keep showing up even when it’s hard.
In this episode, I share:
💛 The reality of balancing motherhood, entrepreneurship, and my own health struggles
💛 Why showing up when things feel heavy matters to me (and maybe to you)
💛 The power of finding even one person who truly gets it (and why that didn’t happen for me on the first try)
💛 The glimmers that are keeping me going right now, including:
- Having a mentor who sees and understands me
- A beautiful Mother Founder call that reminded me why this movement matters
- A drawing from my illustrator’s daughter that lit me up inside
💛 A heartfelt shout out to Dr. Alexis Reid of Eco Chic Movement. Her kindness and expertise got me through one of my hardest seasons as a mom.
If you’re in a dark or difficult season yourself, this episode is for you. You’re not alone
