In this message from Matthew 6:25-34, Jesse explores the reality of anxiety in our fallen world—something we all face, whether from global uncertainties, daily pressures, or even joyful but intense moments like childbirth. Drawing from Jesus' words in the Sermon on the Mount, he reminds us that worry doesn't add to our lives but robs us of peace. Through vivid examples of birds fed by our Heavenly Father and lilies clothed in greater beauty than Solomon, Jesus calls us to reject anxious striving and instead trust God's sovereign care. The antidote? Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness—prioritizing faith, obedience, prayer, loving others, and living under Christ's lordship. When we do, God promises to provide all we truly need. The sermon closes with practical keys to a "healthy anxiety": knowing our Heavenly Father, remembering our life belongs to Christ, acknowledging His provision, cultivating contentment, and being anxious for what truly matters—faithfulness in advancing His kingdom.

A timely encouragement to cast our cares on Him and seek first the Kingdom.

He explains why Italy—a spiritually barren land with less than 1% evangelicals—needs biblical evangelism, discipleship, and church planting, and how short-term teams play a vital supporting role in "biblical missions proper."

Jesse covers the typical daily schedule (morning literature distribution and town saturation, afternoon park ministry with puppets/stories/games for kids, evening Piazza outreach with tracts/mimes/drama), logistics (application process, fundraising, packing, costs ~$1,200–$1,500 excluding flights), cultural adjustments (including riposo breaks), and the unique gospel-focused nature of PMc trips compared to common service-oriented trips elsewhere.

He emphasizes key principles for participants: expecting spiritual opposition and staying watchful/united (with book recommendation), trusting in God's sovereignty for salvation, avoiding pride or despair, striving for humility and unity (Philippians 2, 1 Peter 5), sacrificial serving as a living sacrifice (Romans 12), and relying on prayer while proclaiming the gospel boldly (Romans 10, Psalm 127).
