  • Resumen

  • Mind Your Movies is a podcast for and by movie fans. In each episode, Ryan and Shane discuss in detail two films centered on a specific topic (spoilers and all!). Sometimes they’re movies we love, and sometimes they’re just movies that have to be discussed. After our conversation, we choose a random topic for the next episode. We choose the next films live so you can watch along with us! Join us for some fun (and informative) conversations about movies!

  • Ep. 16: Drinking Game Movies: Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) & The Hangover (2009)
    Apr 24 2025

This week, we are talking "Drinking Game Movies", and we decided to drink while discussing these two, so we are a bit rowdier than usual as we talk about two pretty rowdy movies. Ryan's pick for this one is Jim Sharman's cult classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" from 1975, and Shane skipped ahead a few decades with an equally iconic comedy from 2009, Todd Phillips' "The Hangover". While these are vastly different movies, they both played a pivotal role for their respective audiences and have greatly influenced pop culture since their release. Join us as we discuss our thoughts, ramble, and swear a lot for this episode, or else Ken Jeong might kidnap you or Tim Curry might... well, who really knows?

  • Ep. 15.5: Warfare (2025)
    Apr 17 2025

This week we’re reviewing Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza’s Warfare. A harrowing film that puts you right in the middle of a real battle in Iraq in 2006. Mendoza’s real life experience gives the film a disturbing authenticity and the brilliant sound design makes you feel like you’re right there with the soldiers. We discuss the movie without spoilers first, then go in depth with a spoiler discussion in the second half of the show.
