  • Caring For The Body That Carries the Vision [MBB Series Part 2] Episode 168
    Mar 18 2026

In Part 2 of my Mind, Body, Business series, I focus on the role our bodies play in helping us live, lead, and pursue the things that matter most.

Mindset is powerful, but our bodies are the vehicle that carry our vision. When we care for them intentionally, we create the energy, strength, and resilience needed to show up fully in our lives and our work.

In this episode, I share the philosophy that shapes my approach to fitness and nutrition: my race, my pace. Instead of chasing perfection or comparing myself to others, I focus on sustainable habits that support my body through different seasons of life.

I talk about how I learned to define what “enough” means for me when it comes to weight, exercise, and nutrition, and why clarity around those boundaries has helped me stay consistent.

I also share how daily habits like movement, sleep, hydration, and mindful nutrition support my overall wellness, along with the importance of prevention, self awareness, and creating an environment that makes healthy choices easier.

Most importantly, I discuss the role of grace in the wellness journey. When something doesn’t go as planned, I choose to reflect, adjust, and move forward instead of being hard on myself.

Caring for the body is not about perfection. It is about building sustainable habits that allow us to live well today while also supporting the life we want to live decades from now.

  • The Lessons That Built My Mindset [MBB Series Part 1] Episode 167
    Mar 11 2026

In this first episode of my three part Mind, Body, and Business series, I’m sharing the experiences that shaped the way I think about life, resilience, and personal growth.

Before I ever coached women on wellness, mindset, or entrepreneurship, I was learning some of my most important lessons from my grandmother. She was a Black female business owner in the 1980s, the matriarch of our family, and the first person who showed me what discipline, strength, and leadership looked like.

In this conversation, I reflect on the life lessons I learned watching her run her business, manage her finances with intention, and care deeply for her family.

We also talk about how my childhood experiences shaped my confidence, how becoming a mother changed the way I approach my health and purpose, and the challenges that helped me discover just how resilient I really am.

This episode is about mindset, but not the motivational quote version. It’s about the real mindset that develops through life experience, through love, through struggle, and through the choices we make every day.

If you’ve ever wondered how your past experiences shape the way you show up in your life today, this episode is for you.

In the next episode of this series, we’ll explore the second pillar of transformation: the body, and why the way we care for ourselves physically determines how fully we get to live the lives we’re building.
