Millheim Hotel Haunting & The Headless Switchman

Episode 46: In this episode of Slice of the Paranormal, the team travels to Centre County, Pennsylvania to investigate two chilling legends.

First, we explore the haunted Millheim Hotel, rumored to be the final waiting place of President Millard Fillmore’s mistress. History says he may have fathered a child with her and then disappeared—ghosting her in more ways than one. Is her spirit still roaming the halls, waiting for a man who will never return?

Then, we dig into the unsettling local legend of the Headless Switchman—a railroad ghost said to haunt the tracks with a lantern in hand and no head on his shoulders. This spectral figure has been seen since at least 1975, with reports as recent as 2001. Why are railroad ghosts fading from memory across the country… but still so active in Centre County?

And of course, we wrap things up with a visit to a local Pennsylvania pizza spot—because ghosts and a proper slice go hand in hand.
