  • She Never Made It To Her Fiancé // Morgan Patten
    Nov 17 2025
On November 8, 2019, 24-year-old Morgan Patten traveled 13 hours to Jacksonville, North Carolina, to visit her fiancé. She made it to Jacksonville, but never made it to see her fiancé. Instead, she ended up in a truck with two Marines she didn’t know…and within hours, she was dead on a dark and desolate road. Officials called it a drunk-driving accident. Morgan’s parents say the evidence tells a different story. In this episode, Margot pieces together Morgan’s final hours. We explore security footage, bar receipts, and text messages exchanged between the two Marines, Hunter Wells and Charles Cornwall. We explore disturbing inconsistencies in the investigation, forensic red flags, unexplained DNA, and the question at the heart of this case: How did Morgan end up in that truck? For six years, Morgan’s parents have carried the burden of uncovering the truth. They have funded their own investigators, hired forensic experts, and fought to have evidence released for independent testing. Their search has uncovered shocking details that have never before been publicly unpacked in this way. If you know something about that night… it’s time to come forward. 👉 Morgan’s GoFundMe for independent DNA testing: https://gofund.me/55ec4c4f0 👉 More about Morgan’s Miles to Go Foundation: https://www.morgansmilestogo.com/ ⸻ 🎧Did you know you could listen to this episode ad-free? • She Was Kidnapped From Her Home // Edwina Marter
    Nov 10 2025
In 1976, 35-year-old mother of two, Edwina Marter, was taken from her Mississippi home by a man demanding ransom. What began as a chilling kidnapping for money soon became one of the state’s longest-running death penalty cases. The man responsible was Vietnam veteran Richard Gerald Jordan. He would spend nearly five decades fighting his conviction, as the case wound through courts and appeals until it finally ended in the summer of 2025. Join Margot as she revisits the shocking crime, the man behind it, and the long, tangled road to justice. ⸻ 🎧Did you know you could listen to this episode ad-free? Join the True Crime Army Club! I am new to listening to podcasts, but I can’t get enough of listening to Margot tell the story. She is very easy to listen to, gets “down to business” telling the story and staying on staying topic which keeps me wanting to listen to more!

Stories and their presentation are outstanding. Margot is fantastic in delivery and engagement. Entertaining yet balanced with the seriousness of the subject matter. It is a bonus that Margot is a mother, veteran, and former JAG officer.

One of the best true crime podcasts out there

Worried about the day I’ll only be able to listen to per week because I’ve listened to them all. Great story telling. I enjoy how they shake it up sometimes and bring guests, but Mama Margo is the best. I never thought I’d be into true crime like this.

Great stories!

I found this podcast through Tik-Tok videos and decided to follow and listen. The storytelling and the details included are phenomenal! The story about SGT Hassel really touches home for me because I met him when I was stationed at Ft. Carson. I used to do Kemia's hair sometimes. When I heard the story, I couldn't believe it. They were both sweethearts and he treated her so well. I never got these types of vibes from her at all. I was even more shocked when I saw he passed (Kemia & I were friends on FB) and then find out she had something to do with it.

A Must Listen!
