    Tina Heins was 15 weeks pregnant when she was slaughtered in her home, while her husband was on duty. Tina’s brother-in-law, Chad Heins, was home during the murder and was awakened when the fire alarm blared - leading him to discover various small fires in the home. He rushed to get Tina, only to discover she had been murdered. Without much evidence, Chad was charged, convicted and sentenced to life in prison for Tina’s murder (in addition to sexual assault). In 2007, Chad was officially exonerated. But Tina’s murder remained unsolved, until an arrest was made in September 2025! It was an arrest that shocked everyone. That man is now pending trial in the state of Florida. His name is Michael Ziegler. Dig in with Margot as she tells you this cold case (almost) solved.     Tara Grinstead disappeared from her house in October 2005. The investigation led authorities to various suspects over the years, but sadly, Tara’s case went ice cold. Then in 2016, a budding filmmaker (Payne Lindsey) decided to investigate the case in season 1 of his true crime podcast, Up and Vanished. The podcast was a hit and by early 2017, GBI released a statement, they had made an arrest in Tara Grinstead’s case. 10 days later, another arrest. The alleged perpetrators? Ryan Duke and Bo Dukes - no relationship to each other, despite the similar last names. After the two men confessed to their part in Tara’s disappearance, the case seemed pretty cut and dry, until one of the men took the stand in his own defense and flipped the script. He married twice and appeared to be living his best life, until he was tied to 2 murders in the 1970s at Stanford. I am new to listening to podcasts, but I can’t get enough of listening to Margot tell the story. She is very easy to listen to, gets “down to business” telling the story and staying on staying topic which keeps me wanting to listen to more!

Stories and their presentation are outstanding. Margot is fantastic in delivery and engagement. Entertaining yet balanced with the seriousness of the subject matter. It is a bonus that Margot is a mother, veteran, and former JAG officer.

Worried about the day I’ll only be able to listen to per week because I’ve listened to them all. Great story telling. I enjoy how they shake it up sometimes and bring guests, but Mama Margo is the best. I never thought I’d be into true crime like this.

I found this podcast through Tik-Tok videos and decided to follow and listen. The storytelling and the details included are phenomenal! The story about SGT Hassel really touches home for me because I met him when I was stationed at Ft. Carson. I used to do Kemia's hair sometimes. When I heard the story, I couldn't believe it. They were both sweethearts and he treated her so well. I never got these types of vibes from her at all. I was even more shocked when I saw he passed (Kemia & I were friends on FB) and then find out she had something to do with it.

I enjoy listening to this podcast and was able to meet the host at CrimeCon this year. The way she interacts with the audience like you are just hanging out with her while she tell you these crazy stories. Super insightful and respectful in telling of these crime.
